And let\u2019s not even get started on water stains! Wood countertops are oft debated, but lately I find myself really gravitating to kitchens that feature them. Today, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alexkliang.com\/listings\/city-South+Surrey+White+Rock\/type-House\/page-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new listing<\/a> popped up in my neighbourhood and the kitchen featured a gorgeous wood countertop on the island, which has inspired by to round up a few examples of when this material is done right. I love the warmth and the furniture-like quality they bring to the space. Depending on the finish, they can be quite durable and stand up to moisture.
