Make banana bread, of course! I happened to have 3 bananas with plenty of brown spots sitting on the kitchen counter, so I took it as a sign to turn them into something delicious. This recipe is very easy and very forgiving. Most of the time to make it is just spent waiting for your banana bread to bake in the oven. And your home will be filled with its delicious aroma. One of the added bonuses of baking at home!<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<\/p>\n<p>2 cups flour<br \/>\n1 teaspoon baking soda<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1\u215b cup sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd cup vegetable or canola oil<br \/>\n2 tablespoons buttermilk or milk<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon vanilla<br \/>\n3 bananas mashed very well<br \/>\n\u00bd cup chopped walnuts (optional)<\/p>\n<p>INSTRUCTIONS:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 325 degrees.<br \/>\nAdd flour, baking soda and salt to a small bowl and set aside.<br \/>\nMix egg, sugar and oil and stir until well combined<br \/>\nAdd the dry ingredients to the wet and stir well. The mixture will be thick and dry.<br \/>\nNext add milk, vanilla and bananas and stir until incorporated.<br \/>\nMix in walnuts and pour into a loaf pan.<\/p>\n<p>Bake 50-75 minutes, checking regularly until a knife comes out clean.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy and let me know if you give this recipe a try!
